The idea behind Posh Belly started in 2007 and our doors opened almost 9 months later in the fall of 2008. Coincidence, as well as a good sign for things to come.

Before I was pregnant, I dreamed of the day of dressing the part. After all, if you look on tv or in magazines, there were tons of beautiful celebrities donning the latest fashion that actually seemed to make them even more beautiful than before. Finally it was my turn, or so I thought. But I quickly learned that being pregnant is not an automatic beauty moment. Instead, I found myself struggling to find something both cute and comfortable and I was surprised by how few options there were in town. As the months passed, I became more and more frustrated with the lack of chic and affordable maternity clothes. Being pregnant is a glorious time in one’s life and I wanted to celebrate in style. I wanted to wear fashionable clothing and feel good about myself at the same time.

After talking with some friends, I realized that almost every one of them felt the same way. So I decided it was time to take action and after a lot of research, countless hours meeting other store owners and maternity designers, I decided to open Posh Belly. My friend and I continued to seek out advice from other, more established boutique owners around the country and we believe that we have created a cozy boutique that will perfectly celebrate this joyous time in your life. Our goal is to provide an incredible collection for women who do not want to sacrifice style or comfort while expecting. We offer a variety of clothing and accessories for mom and baby to satisfy an equally varied assortment of taste. We carry high end lines as well as many maternity staples and promise a collection that no one can walk away from empty handed.
